The CAC Holiday Gift Program is full for the 2025 holiday season.
We’ve had an overwhelming number of applications, and want to make sure that every child that is already registered receives a gift.

CAC Hope for the Holidays
Every child deserves a chance to celebrate the holidays with their family! CAC helps you give your children a gift for the holiday season with help from a neighbor from our community who chooses to sponsor your family. Through the program, the sponsor will purchase gifts for your children based on the wish list that you provide on your program application form. Once the gifts have been delivered to the CAC and are ready for collection, a member of the CAC team will call you to pick them up. Please note that there is no guarantee that your family will be sponsored.
1. APPLICATION
You fill out an application, including information about your family and children. We verify your information.
2. MATCHING
We share your wish list and basic family profile (no names are shared) with the community for selection by a sponsor.
3. GIFT PICKUP
Once the sponsor has delivered your family’s gifts to CAC, we will contact you to collect them before the holidays.
Existing CAC Clients
If you have received aid from CAC in the past and have children aged from newborn up to and including 18 years old, you may apply for the Holiday Gift program. Exceptions can be made for children with special needs.
Required Documents
- Birth certificates or passports for all children
- Photo ID for all adults in the family
- Current lease, mortgage statement, or proof of address
- Proof of school enrollment for your school-aged children
CAC must have these current documents for 2025 on file. If CAC does not have these documents, please send in JPG, JPEG, or PDF format to holidays@ourcac.org and include your full name in the subject line of the email. The maximum file size allowed is 5MB.
New CAC Clients
If you are a family that lives in CAC’s service area (Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, or the area of Doraville served by Dunwoody schools), you may apply for the Holiday Gift program. You must provide the documentation needed to become a CAC client, which also gains you access to other CAC services such as food and clothing.
Required Documents
- Birth certificates or passports for all children
- Photo ID for all adults in the family
- Current lease, mortgage statement, or proof of address
- Proof of school enrollment for your school-aged children
You will be contacted and asked to come to a CAC office to register as a client. You will need to bring with you the documents listed above.
Program Steps
With these six steps, you’ll make sure that you are registered for the CAC Holiday Gifts program! If for some reason you do not receive the emails in step 2 or 3, please contact holidays@ourcac.org with your full name in the subject line.
1. Complete the application form
Please fully fill out the application form in order to participate in the program. Questions?
2. Click on the verification link
Once you submit the application form, you will receive an automatic verification email at the email address you provide. Click on the verification link one time, and the application process will be completed.
3. Receive the confirmation email
Once you click the verification link, you will receive an email confirming that CAC has received your application. It will include a summary of your application details and the program information.
4. Connect with a CAC team member
You will be contacted by text and/or email if CAC needs any documentation from you or needs to clarify information on the wish list. Once everything is in order, you will be informed whether your application is approved.
55. Collect your children’s gifts
If your family is sponsored, you will be contacted to pick up your gifts from CAC. As this depends on when your sponsor delivers your gifts, CAC will contact you as soon as the gifts are available. The possible pick-up period begins on December 8, 2024 and lasts for about 2 weeks.

Application Form Important Information:
- All personal information provided by you is confidential and will not be shared with the sponsors.
- The maximum number of children you can register on one application form is nine (9). If you have more than nine (9) children in your family to register, please contact CAC.
- Please answer the three (3) questions about for the “family story” as fully as possible. This information (without personal data) is provided to potential sponsors and is critical to encouraging sponsors to choose your family. Your answer must contain at least 140 characters.
- CAC will use your mobile phone number and email address to communicate with you. Please be sure to inform CAC of any changes.
Gift Wish List:
- Please make three (3) gift wishes for each child.
- Bicycles: maximum 2 bicycles per household for children ages 3-8. Please select the size appropriate to your child’s height to ensure they receive the correct size bike.
- For clothing items or shoes, please select appropriate size for each child.
- Children ages 13 and over, choices are limited to gift cards, clothing or shoes.
- Please use the “additional comments” field to inform us of any special needs, preferences or other relevant information about your child or their wish list. This is especially helpful for the sponsor so that they can purchase the most appropriate gift for your child.
Mistakes or Corrections to Application Form:
- If you discover an error or wish to make a change to your application, please do not submit another application. Instead, please contact CAC with your full name:
