Bridging the Gapbridge

A single mother with two children lost her job and found herself unable to pay rent and utility bills. In dire straits, she came to CAC for help. After our client team reviewed her situation, CAC assisted her with paying rent and referred her to other agencies to help with utilities. We also helped her apply for food stamps and gave her food from our pantry to take home that day. She now has a full time job as an office coordinator and is supporting her family.

Compassionate Assistance

"Thank you and your staff for the assistance extended to my family. CAC was an answered prayer. All of the staff members and volunteers were so kind and compassionate. Your empathetic attitude toward me made me feel relaxed during a potentially stressful situation. Furthermore, you helped me not to feel ashamed for needing help."
