Give Food and Have Fun at CAC’s 2nd Annual Food `n Fun Festival, a fun-filled, outdoor, family event with activities and games for all ages! Join us as neighbors from all walks of life gather together to raise awareness, funds and food to combat hunger and homelessness in our community while enjoying a family-friendly afternoon at the park! The event features a community-wide Food Drive Contest, Hunger Awareness Walk, Shopping Cart Decoration Contest & Parade and a community festival. Teams will compete to collect the most food to help stock the CAC Food Pantry for the summer. Adults and kids of all ages can enjoy sports and fitness-centered events and activities.Your participation will help raise awareness of the needs in our community and help support our neighbors in need.

Admission: Adults $10 each donation to CAC (online or at the gate). Kids 14 and under are free!

Shopping Cart Decoration Contest and Parade:
Now is your chance to take part in the Shopping Cart Decoration Contest and Parade and try to win one of three judged categories: Most Humorous,Most Creative and Most Inspirational! Plan your cart design, bring your decorations, and assemble before the parade!
Food Drive Teams: bring your donations to the Festival to be tallied and awards for the most amounts of food collected will be presented to the winners!

Hunger Awareness Walk
Teams, families and individuals come and walk the short .6 mile course down Morgan Falls Place! Organize a group from your workplace, congregation, club, neighborhood, scout troop etc. and walk as a team to raise awareness and funds to combat hunger locally!
Shopping Cart Decoration Contest & Parade
Teams of walkers are encouraged to enter the Shopping Cart Decoration Contest & Parade (optional)! Decorate a shopping cart in your favorite theme and push the cart during the Hunger Awareness Walk! Grocery store shopping carts will be provided, teams bring their own decorations the morning of the walk. The decorated shopping carts will be judged for the best carts! Team Food Drive Contest
Hold a food drive with your Hunger Awareness Walk Team, or hold a team food drive with your coworkers, congregatoin, youth group, scout troop, neighborhood or civic group and see who can collect the most food for CAC! Bring your food collection to the festival where prizes will be awarded to the groups who collect the most!

Sports & Fitness Games for Kids and Adults
Boys and girls will have fun testing their skills and learning new ones! Military games for different age groups, Snag Golf, A Cake Walk - test your luck running the bases and win baked treats, and more events will make for a fun day outside at the park. Sponsored by the U.S. Army and Steel Canyon Golf Club.
Kids Zone - Activities for Little Kids
Fun and Games for Pre-School Age Kids! Arts and crafts activities, face painting, tattoo fun, bouncy houses and slides and more!
Proceeds benefit the Community Assistance Center, helping neighbors in need in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody since 1987.
