Seeking Adult Education Teachers

Become a volunteer at CAC and help your neighbors in need in Sandy Springs & Dunwoody! We are currently seeking volunteers to teach evening adult education classes!

CAC adult education classes focus on enhancing life skills and improving job skills to help local residents become more successful in daily life and more marketable for better paying jobs. Classes are free and available to clients and the general public, space permitting. Teachers may follow pre-prepared online courses. Volunteer teachers are needed for these classes:

•    Typing
•    Microsoft Word
•    Microsoft Excel
•    Microsoft Powerpoint
•    English (ESL) teachers (evenings)

Adult education classes take place Monday - Thursday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Daytime volunteers for the food pantry, thrift boutique and financial assistance interviewers are also needed. CAC is a volunteer-based nonprofit assisting about 5,700 individuals year. Come and join the more than 300 volunteers that keep CAC operating on a daily basis!
