How You Can Help Your Neighbors Impacted by the Coronavirus

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began CAC’s priority has been to serve families and individuals who have been hit the hardest by a loss of income needed to sustain their families. CAC is concentrating efforts on giving food to families that need support and providing financial assistance so they can remain in their homes.

Many people have already come forward to support our effort to help those in our community who are struggling during these unprecedented times. Thank you! Since the COVID crisis began CAC receiving 4 times as many requests for help than in the past. We will stay ahead of the demand with your support. Please consider making a financial donation to CAC to provide rent assistance or food. You may also give food or volunteer.

Volunteer
Consider joining our volunteer team onsite or online! CAC takes safety measures for the health of everyone at CAC facilities that include required masks, temperature checks and social distancing.  New and previous volunteers ages 15 and older are welcome for onsite volunteering. Individuals 65 and older may make a personal determination about volunteering based on their comfort level. Medically fragile individuals are required to continue to stay at home due to COVID-19. Volunteers would ideally be able to commit to a regular schedule such as once a week since positions require training. We also have opportunities for work from home online.
