How You Can Help Your Neighbors Impacted by COVID-19

Since the COVID-19 economic crisis began CAC has been committed to serving families and individuals who have been hit the hardest by a loss of income needed to sustain their families. Initially CAC concentrated efforts to giving food to families that needed support and provided financial assistance so they can remain in their homes.

So many people have come forward to support our effort to help those in our community who are struggling during these unprecedented times. Thank you! At the height of the crisis CAC was receiving 4 times as many requests for assistance than before COVID. Well into 2021 we are still receiving requests for rent assistance due to lost jobs. We will stay ahead of the demand with your support. Please consider making a financial donation to CAC to provide rent assistance. You may also give food or volunteer.

Volunteer
Consider joining CAC’s volunteer team and help your neighbors in need! Volunteers ages 15 and older are welcome. Volunteers are most needed Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm for 3 or 4 hour shifts. Volunteers would ideally be able to commit to a regular schedule such as once a week since positions require training. We also have opportunities for work remotely from home. Find more details on volunteering here. Contact Nolan at volunteer@ourcac.org .
